Arrive at Pangkalan Bun, on the island of Borneo, better known by the Indonesians as Kalimantan. Upon arrival at the airport your guide will be waiting for you, transfer to the port of Kumai about 15-20 minutes by car where we will embark on a great adventure! Here you embark on the Speedboats. First you head south and then enter the Sekonyer River and after approximately 1.5 hours you will arrive at Camp Leakey. Here you will have the Lunch (Box Type Picnic) while you wait for the right time to enter the feeding time of Orangutans. After a short hike, you will arrive at the feeding platform just in time to see how the Orangutans are approaching jumping between trees to receive a small part of their daily food. Here they are usually seen in addition to Orangutans, Tricolor Squirrel, Gibbons, Bearded Pigs and much more endemic flora and fauna. They will embark in the boat again and will go down by the river in search of the Narigudos monkeys, Macaques, birds and with luck even crocodiles. Arrive at port and transfer to the Hotel

Meals: Lunch - Picnic

Accommodation: Arsela Hotel

After an extraordinary breakfast, we will go in time to see the Camp Tanggui at the time of feeding (9 AM). Sooner or later you will see how the branches of the treetops begin to move and then you will see the silhouettes of the Orangutans arriving to the feeding platform.

Tanggui was a release camp for young Orangutans that were rehabilitated, and they continue to add food every day, to prevent the Orangutans from leaving because of lack of food, and they end up outside the National Park, with the following risk of falling into traps of settlers or fields of palm oil plantations. After the Orangutans begin to leave, you will return to the klotok again to go further up the river.

You will see how the coloration of the river changes and you will have the opportunity to see crocodiles and large lizards, together with Gibbon’s and proboscis Monkeys.

Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Accommodation: Klotok Boat

To see a unique sunrise in a part of the national park almost unexplored by tourists, today we will pick you up at 5 am and sail in speedboats for approximately 1 hour and a half, going out to the open sea and entering Buluh Kecil, a small river in another part of the jungle where many operators still do not explore. On the way up the river, navigating in the winding river you can see how the mist that receives us in the morning is disappearing to give rise to the jump of monkeys, kalaos birds, macaques and hopefully some crocodile and monitor lizards resting on the shores of it. Little by little we are reaching the area of the Rangers, where formerly feeding time takes place at 7 am and even today the orangutans still come to the area. We can not assure you that you see them because in this area they live wildly and it is about being aware of finding the animals and enjoying them. Then we can visit the house of the Rangers who live permanently there to protect the area and have a tea or coffee with them, while we listen to the morning sounds of the jungle. An unforgettable place. Then, slowly go down the river and then you will again go to the Sekonyer River. Lunch will be a picnic in a riverside town, and we will be on time again at 3:00 p.m. to visit another food camp, that of Tanjung Harapan. A short hike in search of local flora and fauna and the enjoyment of the great Apes. Then we will return to the boat to return to the port and then to the hotel.

Free time in the afternoon to visit the town on your own
